Shri Alkesh Kumar Sharma to inaugurate the First International Conference on Digital Skilling under NICE-DT tomorrow

The Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Shri Alkesh Kumar Sharma to inaugurate the First International Conference on Digital Skilling under NICE-DT (NIELIT’s International Conference on Communication, Electronics and Digital Technologies), here tomorrow. The event is being organized by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), under the administrative control of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India.

The International Conference will foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among stakeholders in the field of digital skilling and develop strategies for upskilling & reskilling workers globally to engineer the blueprint for creating “Global Future Ready Workforce” thereby contributing towards the achievement of building India as the skilling capital of the World. 

The International Conference will have a series of Panel Discussions, Talks and Insights from eminent Academicians, industry leaders, policy makers from India and  across the world. The 1st International Journal of Digital Technologies will also be unveiled during the Conference.

The Inaugural session will have key addresses by prominent people such as Dr. Nirmaljeet Singh Kalsi, IAS (retd.), Chairman, NCVET, Shri Bhuvnesh Kumar, IAS, Additional Secretary, MeitY, Dr. M. Squicciarini, Director AI, SHS UNESCO, Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, National Education Technology Forum, Dr. Madan Mohan Tripathi, DG, NIELIT followed by Panel  Discussions on the ensuing verticals by the distinguished panelists from India and Abroad:
