CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography will be celebrating the 81st Foundation Day of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), on Monday, September 26, 2022 from  0930 hrs to 1500 hrs.

On this occasion, CSIR-NIO invites students and the public at large for its Open Day to know more about the scientific endeavors in ocean research. The students will get an opportunity to visit the exhibition on marine resources and instruments and view films on ocean sciences. A lecture on 'Careers in oceanography' will be delivered on this occasion for the students of standards XI and XII at 11.30 am in CSIR-NIO auditorium.
