The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Chemicals and Fertilizers, led by Ms. Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, Chairperson and Members of Parliament (Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha) visited Hindustan Antibiotics Ltd., Pune on 13^th and 14^th June, 2022. The other Parliamentarians of the Standing Committee were Shri Deepak Baij, Shri Prataprao Patil Chikhlikar, Shri Kripanath Mallah, Shri Prabhubhai Vasava, Shri Satyadev Pachauri, Shri Arun Kumar Sagar, Shri Ayodhya Rami Reddy Alla, Shri Jayprakash Nishad, Shri Vijay Pal Singh Tomar along with Shri HK Hajong, Economic Advisor, Department of Pharmaceuticals and other senior officials of the Lok Sabha Secretariat. The Parliamentary Committee visited Hindustan Antibiotics Ltd., factory at Pimpri and gained hands on experience of the manufacturing facilities available, the products and were briefed about the future plans of the company. The Standing Committee Members were given Power Point Presentation. The Committee members assured that they would positively look into the difficulties faced by the company and recommend measures for its revival.
