Field Outreach Bureau-Goa, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, is organizing a three-day photo exhibition on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, as part of Government of India’s year-long celebrations to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence. 

The exhibition will be inaugurated by Shri Chandrakant Kavlekar, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Goa, at 12 PM on Friday, 27 August, 2021.

At the inaugural event, personalities who were involved in the Goa Liberation Movement will be felicitated. The event will also have cultural performances by Goan local artists. 

To commemorate the 75 years of the country’s Independence, a tree sapling will also be planted on the premises of Ravindra Bhavan by the dignitaries.

The second day on Saturday, principals of schools in Margao will be felicitated at the venue. A drawing competition is being conducted for school students on the theme of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and the winners of the competition will be awarded prizes at the event on Saturday. 

The photo exhibition will remain open to the public from 9 am to 8 pm till Sunday, 29th August, 2021.
