ACC approves new appointments
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments:-
Shri Pradeep Kumar, IAS (HY:72), presently Secretary, Department of Disinvestment, Ministry of Finance, as Secretary, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, in the vacancy of Shri K. P. Singh, IAS (KN:71);
Shri Siddharth Behura, IAS (UP:73), presently Special Secretary, Ministry of Environment & Forests, as Secretary, Department of Telecommunications (Ministry of Communications and Information Technology), in the vacancy of Shri D. S. Mathur, IAS (MP:71).
The competent authority has also approved the extension of term of Shri Arun Bhatnagar, IAS (Retd) as Secretary, National Advisory Council in the rank and pay of Secretary on contractual basis beyond 31st December, 2007 till 30th April, 2008.
