T R Baalu Approves Road Improvement works in Tamil nadu
The Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, Thiru T. R. Baalu has approved a total amount of Rs. 449.19 lakh for road improvement works at several NH stretches in the State of Tamil Nadu.
The approval has been granted for the following works of construction of National Highways in Tamil Nadu:-
(i) Reconstruction of 24 RCC slab culverts in between km 59/0 to km 65/0 of NH 210 between Namanasamudram and Thirumayam in the district of Pudukottai at a cost of Rs. 317.80 lakh
(ii) Reconstruction of culverts at km 107/2 and 114/2 of NH-208 between Idaikkal and Kadayanallur in the district of Tirunalveli at a cost of Rs. 27.23 lakh.
(iii) Reconstruction of culverts at km 212/2, km 214/10 and km 215/6 and construction of Retaining wall in km 216/230-390 of NH 208 between V.Ammapatti and Kunnathur in the district of Madurai at a cost of Rs. 104.16 lakhs.
