Participation of Indian Table Tennis Teams in the 20th Golden Racket International Table Tennis Tournament and 12th Asian Junior Table Tennis Championship 2006
An eight member Indian Table Tennis Team will participate in the 20th Golden Racket International Table Tennis Tournament to be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from 12-16th July, 2006. The members of the team are Jitendra Kumar Gidla, Nisheeth Mehta Pathak, Shibaji Datta, Sourava Chakraborty, Madhurika Patkar, Vishaka Vijay, Sushmita Roy and Mamta Ashok Prabhu. Shri Dilip Sinha will accompany as Coach of the team while Shri Birendra Prasad Baishya will be the Manager of the team.
A fourteen member Indian Table Tennis Team will also participate in the 12th Asian Junior Table Tennis Championship 2006 at Kitakyushu, Japan from 25-30th July, 2006. The members of the team are Sanil Shankar Shetty, Devesh Karia, Ankit Vinayak Koparkar, Sivananda Sehsadri, Soumyajit Ghosh, Raj Mondal, Nitin Thiruvengadat Vasanth Philips, Kumaresan Shamini, Neha Aggarwal, Prajakta Kailash Tipale, Ashiesha Bodas, Ankita Das, Shruti Satish Talnikar and Puja Vijay Sahasrabudhe. Mantu Ghosh and Praveen Ojha will accompany the team as Coach.
