Government Implementing Various Measures for Welfare of SCS

Government is implementing various educational and economic measures like Scholarship and Free Coaching Schemes, Construction of Hostels for students, Concessional Loans etc for SCs in order to increase opportunities and scope for their employment and economic upliftment. Proportionate reservation has been provided for SCs in the Lok Sabha and State Legislative Assemblies. There is also a provision of reservation @ 15% for SCs in Central Educational Institutions and posts and services under the Central Government.
