ACHIEVEMENT OF LOCAISATION COMMITMENTS UNDER PLI SCHEME FOR AUTOMOBILE AND AUTO COMPONENTS
To facilitate deep localization, PLI-Auto scheme incentivizes Advanced Automotive Technology (AAT) products for which prescribed Domestic Value Addition (DVA) is achieved. As on 15.12.2025, 18 applicants have received DVA certificates for 131 products/variants under PLI-Auto scheme.
As perscheme guidelines, Statutory Auditor (SA) for the applicant is entrusted to do auditand validate incentive claims, investment &eligible sales data. PLI-Auto Scheme has an outlay of ₹25,938 cr. to develop the domestic supply chain of AAT products. The scheme is promoting investment in the automobile sector which is leading to overall increased manufacturing activity downstream with establishment of supply chain where Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) may participate and benefit from the ecosystem.
