Tele Law Services 2.0

As on 30th November, 2025,61,98,407 citizens have benefitted from the Tele Law 2.0 services since its launch in 2023under Nyaya Bandhuprogramme of the Central Sector Scheme ‘Designing Innovative Solutions for Holistic Access to Justice’ (DISHA).

An AI based Chatbot named Nyaya Setu has been developed as a Virtual Legal Assistant.

Till 30 November, 2025, the number of pro-bono lawyers registered on Nyaya Bandhu Application are9776 and the nature of cases handled include, but not limited, tocivil and criminal laws, including Women and Child safety, Family and Matrimonial disputes, Domestic Violence, Property disputes, Work place Harassment, etc.

This information was given by the Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Law and Justice; and Minister of State in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal in Lok Sabha today.
