Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) Launches Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) Campaign to Mark the 10th Anniversary of Swachh Bharat Mission
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) is pleased to announce the launch of the Swachhata Hi Sewa (SHS) 2024 Campaign, to be observed from 14th September to 2nd October 2024. This year’s campaign holds special significance as it coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission, which has played a key role in improving public sanitation and the overall quality of life in India.
Under the theme ‘Swabhav Swachhata - Sanskaar Swachhata’, the campaign focuses on promoting cleanliness as a cultural and habitual responsibility. MNRE has planned a variety of activities, including special cleaning drives, competitions, and a Swachh Bharat Diwas celebration on 2nd October, which will include the recognition of sanitation workers and the distribution of cleanliness kits.
The Ministry encourages its staff, officers, and the wider public to participate actively in these initiatives to help promote cleanliness and reinforce the values of sustainable waste management. Together, we can contribute to the vision of a cleaner and healthier India.
