Country celebrates Constitution Day to commemorate adoption of Constitution of India
The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs played a pivotal role in celebration of the Samvidhan Diwas (Constitution Day), 2023.
The Samvidhan Diwas (Constitution Day), falling on 26th November, every year, has been celebrated with great fervor this year as well. This day is celebrated to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India and to honour and acknowledge the contribution of our Founding Fathers.
For commemoration of the Samvidhan Diwas (Constitution Day), the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs invited all citizens to participate in the Constitution Quiz and Online Reading of the Preamble. The Ministry made two web portals operational to ensure maximum Jan Bhagidari. These web portals are:


Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, as an active and guiding participant in this momentous national programme, revamped and updated the abovementioned two digital portals. These portals were made accessible to everybody to participate and get a Certificate of participation. Option was made available to post these Certificates on social media platforms by using #SamvidhanDiwas.
Public at large displayed great interest and enthusiasm in participating on both these portals and getting participation certificates. Appr. 11 Lacs persons took part in the Quiz Competition and appr. 18 Lacs individuals participated in the Online Reading of Preamble.
