Secretary , Department of Legal Affairs , Ministry of Law and Justice Shri Niten Chandra and  other distinguished officers marked World Environment Day by planting tree saplings as part of Mission LiFE. The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Government of India had envisaged to  celebrate the World Environment Day 2023 with a thrust on the Mission LiFE. The concept of LiFE, introduced by the  Prime Minister of India, aims to promote sustainable living by encouraging individuals to make changes in their lifestyles and emphasizes responsible and conscious use of resources to safeguard and conserve the environment.
