Meeting of Hindi Salahkar Committee of Ministry of Steel concluded in Varanasi
Varanasi. The meeting of Hindi Salahkar Committee of Ministry of Steel was held in Varanasi under the chairmanship of Vice Chairman of the committee, Union Minister of State for Steel and Rural Development, Shri Faggan Singh Kulaste.
In his remarks, Shri Kulaste welcomed the suggestions made by all the members to increase the use of Hindi in the Ministry and Undertakings and stressed on the maximum use of Hindi in official work. The Minister assured the members that appropriate action would be taken on the constructive suggestions given by them and at the earliest.
Members of Parliament Shri Sanjay Seth (Lok Sabha) and Shri Dinesh Chandra Jemalbhai Anavadia (Rajya Sabha) were also present in the meeting. Heads of all the undertakings under the Ministry of Steel were also present in the meeting.
Chief Controller of Accounts and In-charge of Official Language, Shri Sakesh Prasad Singh welcomed the members of the committee. Two meetings of the reconstituted Hindi Salahkar Samiti have already been held on October 10, 2021. Smt. Ruchika Chaudhary Govil, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Steel also expressed her views regarding the progressive use and promotion of official language Hindi on this occasion. He apprised all the members of the committee about the status of Hindi in the Ministry of Steel and the activities being done for its promotion and dissemination. Thereafter, a short video presentation on the topic 'Hindi Yatra' was presented by the Ministry of Steel. All PSUs also presented short videos related to 'Hindi Yatra' of their respective PSUs. Thereafter, the progress of Official Language Hindi in the Ministry was reviewed in detail by the members of the Committee and the efforts of the Ministry towards increasing the use of Hindi were appreciated and valuable suggestions were given for promotion and promotion of Official Language Hindi. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by Smt. Sukriti Likhi, Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Steel to the Chairman and the members of the committee.
