Grants Under ICPS
The details of grant sanctioned to States/UTs for the last five years under Child Protection Services Scheme (erstwhile Integrated Child Protection Scheme (ICPS)) is at Annexure-I. The Government of India is committed to provide security net of statutory and service delivery structures to the children in need of care and protection and children in conflict with law. All the States/UTs are implementing the scheme and funds are released to them as per norms based on projected requirements.
This information was given by the Union Minister of Women and Child Development, Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani, in a written reply in Rajya Sabha today.
