India Meteorological Department (IMD) issues Air Quality Forecast Bulletin and generates air quality forecast products and upload the same on IMD website for the knowledge of general public and air pollution control authorities. Currently, the air quality forecast products are generated and provided for Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Varanasi, Patna and Bhopal.

This information was given by the Minister of State (I/C) for M/o Earth Sciences and M/o Science & Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh in a written reply in Rajya Sabha today.
