Environmental Clearances for Developmental Projects
Ministry of Environment and Forests has accorded environmental clearance to 209 developmental projects between July 13, 2011 and July 12, 2012. Out of 209 projects, 88 Industrial projects and 32 National Highways projects have been accorded environmental clearance during the same period. This was stated by Shrimati Jayanthi Natarajan Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Environment and Forests, in the Rajya Sabha today, in a written reply to a question by Shri. Avinash Pande
