Vice President Condoles the Sad Demise of Shri Vilasrao D. Deshmukh
The Vice President of India Shri M. Hamid Ansari has expressed deep grief on the sad demise of the Union Minister Shri Vilasrao D. Deshmukh. In his condolence message, he has said that Shri Deshmukh had a glorious record of public service and served as Chief Minister of Maharashtra twice. In his death the country has lost an eminent politician and an able administrator.
Following is the text of Vice President’s condolence message :
“I am deeply grieved to learn about the sad demise of Union Minister Shri Vilasrao Dagadojirao Deshmukh. Shri Deshmukh had a glorious record of public service and served as Chief Minister of Maharashtra twice. In his death the country has lost an eminent politician and an able administrator.
My wife joins me in conveying our heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family. We pray to the Almighty to grant them strength and fortitude to bear this loss.”
