International Crude oil Prices of Indian Basket Remains Steady on 11.07.2012 to US$ 97.46/BBL , Falls in Re Terms

The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published today by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas was slightly higher at US$ 97.46/barrel (bbl) on 11.7.2012.The price was higher than US$ 97.42/bbl on the previous trading day of 10.7.2012.

 

In rupee terms, however, the crude oil price fell to Rs 5396.36 per bbl on 11.07.2012 from Rs 5437.01 per bbl on 10.07.2012. This was due to rupee appreciation with rupee-dollar exchange rate on 11.07.2012 at Rs  55.37/US$ against Rs  55.81/US$ on 10.07.2012.
