Wholesale Prices of Onion Decline by 35% in Nasik Mandies and 13% in Azadpur Market
The wholesale prices of onion both in Nasik mandies (Lasalgaon, Pimpalgaon and Manmad) in Maharastra and Azadpur market have declined by 35% and 13% respectively today following decision taken by the Price Fixation Advisory Committee (PFAC) to voluntar

 

The wholesale prices of onion both in Nasik mandies (Lasalgaon, Pimpalgaon and Manmad) in Maharastra and Azadpur market have declined by 35% and 13% respectively  today following  decision taken by the Price Fixation Advisory Committee (PFAC) to voluntarily suspend issuance of NOCs  for export of onion by NAFED, NCCF and other STEs and increase the Minimum Export Price (MEP) w.e. f. 21st December’10. In the mean time, arrivals have also picked up marginally.
