Innovative Method of Advertising at Railway Stations
The earnings from Commercial Publicity on Indian Railways had increased by eight per cent during 2009-10 as compared to the previous year.

During the last few years some new concepts have been introduced in Commercial Publicity on Indian Railways which include bulk advertising rights, vinyl wrapping of trains, on-board infotainment, etc. The earnings through Commercial Publicity on Indian Railways including Mumbai area during the years 2008-09 and 2009-10 were Rs. 157.47 crore and Rs. 170.20 crore respectively.

This information was given by the Minister of State for Railways, Shri E. Ahamed in a written reply in Rajya Sabha today.
