As per information available from Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation and National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority there is no information in respect of disruption of Insulin supply owing to the constant increase in the number of diabetic patients in the country.

Some of the insulin preparations are also included in the list of life saving drugs for the purpose of exemption of customs duty.
