Action has been taken for providing funding support to the said initiative. The States having the potential sites (Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan) have been addressed, and ‘in-principle’ agreement has been received from Madhya Pradesh.

This information was given by the Minister of State for Environment and Forests (independent charge) Shri Jairam Ramesh in a written reply to a question by S/Shri Balkrishna K Shukla and P Kumar in Lok Sabha today.
