Requests have been received from some
State Governments, for additional allocation of foodgrains
on account of flood/drought.
Considering the requests of the State
Governments, additional allocation of foodgrains has
been made. State-wise details of
additional allocation of foodgrains made for
flood/drought relief during the current year 2010-11 are as under:

Operational
responsibility for further distribution of the allocated foodgrains
to eligible families within the State lies with the State Government.
