Biennial Elections to the Maharashtra Legislative Council from Local Authorities, Graduates’ and Teachers’ Constituencies.

                  The term of office of eleven members of the Maharashtra Legislative Council, i.e.  6 from Local Authorities’, 2 from Graduates’ and 3 from Teachers’ Constituencies is going to expire on 5th December, 2010 due to the retirement of the sitting members as detailed below :-

2.                     The Commission has decided to hold Biennial Elections from the above mentioned Local Authorities’, Graduates’ and Teachers’ Constituencies of Maharashtra  Legislative Council in accordance with the following programme:-
