Performance of Production Units During
April 2009 – February 2010
Chittranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) produced 197 electric locomotives against the target of 202 electronic locomotives and Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW) produced 240 diesel locomotives against the target of 231 diesel locomotives during April 2009-February 2010. Rail Coach Factory (RCF) produced 1417 coaches against the target of 1417 coaches where as Integral Coach Factory (ICF) produced 1267 coaches against the targets of 1252 coaches during the same period. Rail Wheel Factory (RWF) produced 171735 wheels and 64345 axles against the target of 170605 wheels and 64996 axles respectively during April 2009- February 2010.
During the month of February 2010, CLW, DLW, ICF, RCF and RWF have produced 25 electric locomotives, 19 diesel locomotive, 125 coaches, 127 coaches, 12830 wheels and 560 axles respectively against the target of 24 electric locomotives, 20 diesel locomotive, 125 coaches, 127 coaches, 14212 wheels and 4915 axels.
Railways have realized an amount of Rs. 29.26 crore approximately during the month of February 2010 through ticket checking.
