NHAI awards contract for Bangalore-Mysore Section of NH-275 in Karnataka.
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has issued Letter of Award (LOA) for development of following National Highway section in Karnataka on Hybrid Annuity Mode:

The entire Highway has been designed as a fully Access Controlled facility with provision of service roads on both side in entire length. Bypasses have been proposed for following congested cities:-

The project also provides for Elevated Corridor From km 18.675 to 23.095, Bangalore Urban Section, From km 79.388 to 82.768, Maddur , Length 3.380 km and From km 125.77 to 12.045, Srirangapatna Bypass, Length -0.275 km.
Scope of work included construction of 9 No. of Major Bridges having length from 75 m to 300 m (total length of 1.55 km), 44 Nos. of Minor Bridges and 4 Nos. of ROBs. The concession period is 17.5 yrs including construction period of 2.5 years.
Keeping in view of the road safety of the road users at all the major intersections have been provided with Vehicular Underpasses/Vehicular Overpasses, Light Vehicular Underpasses etc. The project also provides for one rest area and 66 bus shelters etc.
