China
Vs Russia
The Russian players gave an aggressive start
which ended with a glorious victory.
In the third match of the BRICS U-17 Football
Tournament between China v/s Russia, the Chinese players couldn’t cope up to
the intensive aggression by the Russian players, as they had a heavy foot on
their opponents.
Right from the 6th minute of the
match, Russia’s Kolesnichenko Kirill was able to score the opening goal of the
tournament. The Russian’s defense proved to be too robust for China.
The Chinese tried their level best in blocking
the continuous heavy attacks of the Russian strikers. However, Russia’s futher
extended their lead by Kolesnichenko Kirill in the 68th minute and
Daniil Lopatin scored a brace by giving the Russians a lead by 4 goals.
Nevertheless, from the dying minutes of the game Tao Qianglong was able to
score China’s only goal in a penalty shootout bringing the final score to 4-1
in Russia’s favor.
India
vs South Africa
In the
second match of the BRICS U-17 football tournament, India failed to score a
goal with South Africa clinching a win by 0-1
Ndamolelo
Radzilani’s scored the only winning goal for South Africa at the 23rd minute
mark.
With
India dominating the latter half of the first half, but failing to take
opportunities, the boys in blue went into the tunnel at half-time trailing by a
solitary goal to nil.
There
were however times where it seemed India were dominating the game and even came
close to almost scoring a goal numerous times but the powerful showmanship of
the South Africa custodian proved too much to handle.
The
full-time score line read 1-0 in South Africa’s favor.
