President’s Rule imposed in Uttarakhand
Advisors to Governor of Uttarakhand appointed
President of India has signed a Proclamation under Article 356 of the Constitution imposing President’s Rule in the State of Uttarakhand and all the functions of the Government of Uttarakhand assumed by the President shall be exercised also by the Governor of Uttarakhand subject to the superintendence, direction and control of the President.
Shri Ravindra Singh, IAS 1979 (Retd.) and Shri Prakash Mishra, IPS 1977 (Retd.) have been appointed as Advisors to the Governor of Uttarakhand. These appointments will be effective from the dates they assume charge of their post and until further orders, or revocation of President’s Rule whichever is earlier.
