Yoga coordinates between body, spirit, mind and soul – Rajnath Singh

The Union Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh has said that Yoga in human life coordinates between body, spirit, mind and soul. He was addressing the valedictory session of the International Conference on Yoga for Holistic Health, here today.

Shri Rajnath Singh has said that being birth place of Yoga, India never wanted to become a world leader in propagating Yoga but wanted everyone in the world to live in good health and peace. India has always practiced ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ which says ‘the world is one family’, he added.

The Union Home Minister has said that on International Yoga Day, there was a festive mood not only in India but all over the world. Yoga was practiced everywhere, including water, land and air (jal, thal and nav). Entire world has practiced Yoga, which doesn’t belong to one Religion or Caste, he added. The entire credit goes to the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi for making International Yoga Day a reality.

Shri Rajnath Singh has compared the human life with a physical formula. The circumference of satisfaction of a man is purportedly related to happiness, and that happiness can be achieved through Yoga, he added. Yoga joins groups in the society and it doesn’t divide, he also added. After Buddhism which is born in India and spread all over the world, Yoga is the one which is also born in India and spread all over the world now, he further added.

The Minister of State for AYUSH, Shri Shripad Yasso Naik has said that his Ministry has put in all the efforts to Universalize Yoga. Yoga is not related to one region or religion, but it relates to entire universe and Yoga cannot be treated as a tool to lead a healthy life, but it should be treated as a tool to live a happy life, he added.

Earlier, the Union Home Minister, Shri Rajnth Singh has launched the ‘Scheme for Voluntary Certification of Yoga Professionals’ recognizing that Quality Council of India (QCI) has expertise in developing such quality framework based on international best practices.
