Deregulation of Petroleum Prices
The Minister of State (I/C) for Petroleum & Natural Gas Shri Dharmendra Pradhan informed the Rajya Sabha in a written reply today that at present, the prices of PDS Kerosene and Subsidized Domestic LPG are being regulated by the Government. Prices of all other petroleum products, including Petrol and Diesel have been made market determined and are decided by the Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) as per market conditions.
The current retail selling price (RSP) of Petrol and Non-Subsidized Domestic LPG at Delhi (as per IOCL) is Rs. 60.49/litre and Rs. 610.00/14.2 kg Cylinder respectively.
