The Standing Committee on Energy (Sixteenth Lok Sabha) under the Chairpersonship of Dr. Kirit Somaiya, M.P. have been referred the “Electricity Amendment Bill, 2014” for examination and presenting a Report thereon to Parliament.

          All those desirous of submitting their views to the Committee may send their written Memoranda, either in English or Hindi on the Subject to Director, Lok Sabha Secretariat, Room No. 514, fifth Floor, Parliament House Annexe, New Delhi – 110 001 or e-mail them at energycom@sansad.nic.in within twenty days of publication of this Communiqué.

              The Memoranda submitted to the Committee would form part of the records of the Committee and would be treated as ‘confidential’ and would enjoy privileges of the Committee.
