Construction of ROB/RUB in North Eastern region

The details of road-over/under bridges (ROB/RUB) works sanctioned on cost sharing basis on North-East Frontier Railway which serves the north-eastern region of the country are given below:

Under planning.

            There are 428 works of (ROB/RUB) sanctioned on cost sharing basis in the country and are under various stages of planning, design and construction.  Further, 15 new works are being included in the Supplementary Demands for Grant for year 2005-06. 

This information was given by the Minister of State for Railways Shri. R.Velu in written reply to a question asked by  Shri Nabam Rebia in Rajya  Sabha today.
