The
international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by
Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and
Natural Gas was US$ 95.50 per barrel (bbl) on 15.09.2014. This was lower than
the price of US$ 96.74 per bbl on previous publishing day of 12.09.2014.
In
rupee terms, the price of Indian Basket decreased to Rs 5824.55 per bbl on 15.09.2014
as compared to Rs 5885.66 per bbl on 12.09.2014. Rupee
closed weaker at Rs
60.99 per US$ on 15.09.2014 as against Rs 60.84 per US$ on 12.09.2014.
The
Diesel under recovery has been wiped out and there is over-recovery of Rs 0.35
per litre w.e.f 16th September 2014.
