The Model Code of Conduct as applicable to the Local Authority
Constituency issued vide Commission’s letter No. 322/ LC/INST/2010-CC&BE dated
24th February, 2010, will come in to force with immediate effect in
the district(s) within which the said Constituency is comprised. In addition,
the provisions of MCC and ECI instructions applicable to Legislative Assembly,
with regards to defacement of Public & Private properties, shall also be applicable.
A detailed combined instruction with regards to applicable provisions of Model
Code of Conduct for this election has been separately issued.
