The 16th Lok Sabha elections would be held in the lone Parliamentary Constituency of Sikkim on April 12, 2014. Polling will be held at 538 polling stations spread across 389 polling station locations. Out of the state’s total of 3,62,326 electors as on  3^rd January 2014, 24.62% are in the age group 18–25 while women constitute 48.45%. The poll expenditure limit per candidate in the state is Rs.54 lakhs.
