A New Script for Viksit Bharat: Trained Woman Drone Pilot from Andhra Pradesh Interacts with PM Modi
As part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with beneficiaries from across the nation via video conference today. It turned out to be a memorable day for Komlapati Venkata Ravnamma, a member of a self-help group in Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh, for she had an extraordinary opportunity to interact with the Prime Minister of India and share with him, her experience of mastering the skill of drone flying.
For Smt. Venkata, who acquired the skill of drone flying in just 12 days for agricultural purposes, the experience of meeting and sharing this accomplishment with the Prime Minister was a testament to the perseverance of people across India to work for a Viksit Bharat.
When the Prime Minister inquired about the implications of employing drones for agricultural purposes in villages, she affirmed that it aids in addressing water-related challenges while also optimizing time efficiency.
The Prime Minister emphasized that women like Smt Venkata stand as an example for those who doubt the power of Bharat’s Nari Shakti. He also said that in near future, the utilization of drones in agriculture would become a symbol of women-led development. Additionally, he stressed the importance of women’s participation in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
The Government of India, with the implementation of various welfare schemes and through Janbhagidari activities, is indeed making the dreams of every Indian come true.
