NIELIT Imphal Shines at First Convocation of NIELIT Deemed to be University

The first Convocation of the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Deemed to be University (NDU) was held at NIELIT Ropar, Punjab, marking a significant milestone in the academic journey of the University. The ceremony was graced by Shri S. Krishnan, IAS, Hon’ble Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, and Dr. M. M. Tripathi, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, NIELIT Deemed to be University.

A total of 102 graduates were conferred Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degrees during the ceremony, recognising their academic achievements and successful completion of their respective programmes. NIELIT Imphal had a significant representation at the convocation, with 27 M.Tech. (Artificial Intelligence) graduates and 9 Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) graduates completing their respective programmes.

Adding to the pride of NIELIT Imphal, its students delivered an outstanding academic performance in the M.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence (M.Tech. AI) programme. Laishram Trinity secured the Gold Medal, while S. Athisii Kayina was awarded the Silver Medal, bringing laurels to NIELIT Imphal.

Their remarkable achievements reflect the dedication, hard work and academic excellence of the students, as well as the commitment of NIELIT Imphal towards quality technical education and advanced skill development.

The achievement is a proud moment for NIELIT Imphal and further reinforces its contribution to nurturing skilled professionals in emerging areas of technology.
