The National Academy of Direct Taxes – Regional Campus (NADT-RC), Mumbai, held the inaugural session of REFLECTIONS – A Journey Through Service, Leadership and Learning, an experience-sharing series that aims to enrich officers with the judgement and perspective of senior officers of the Department.

The programme was initiated by Principal Additional Director General, NADT-RC, Mumbai, Shri Navneet Manohar, who introduced the concept, vision and objectives of the series. The session comprised an opening reflection by the guest speaker, followed by a thematic conversation and an interactive session. Officers up to the level of Additional Commissioner of Income Tax attended the programme.

Member (IT), Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), Shri Sanjay Bahadur, graced the occasion as the Guest Speaker and shared valuable insights from his career spanning over three decades in tax administration, investigation, competition regulation and policymaking. He urged officers to continuously upgrade their skills by embracing technology and to strive towards a non-intrusive tax administration.

Shri Sanjay Bahadur also made a nostalgic visit to NADT-RC, Mumbai (formerly DTRTI, Mumbai), which he headed from September 2012 to May 2015. Revisiting the campus, he recalled memories from his tenure, shared his insights on training and guided the team on evolving training needs and best practices.

Through the REFLECTIONS series, NADT-RC, Mumbai, reaffirmed its commitment to continuous capacity building and nurturing values-driven leadership, in line with the spirit of Mission Karmayogi.
