As part of efforts to strengthen public awareness, nursing students of Shri Shankaracharya College of Nursing presented an educational skit on infection prevention and control. The performance conveyed safe hygiene practices and measures to prevent the spread of infections in a simple and engaging manner. It also sought to sensitise patients, their attendants, visitors and members of the public to the importance of infection control.
The observance highlights the need to integrate infection prevention into routine healthcare practices and reinforces the shared responsibility of hospital employees, patients, attendants and visitors in maintaining a safe healthcare environment. Through the week-long initiative, JLNHRC aims to minimise infection risks, strengthen patient safety and promote safe and quality healthcare services.
