The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has launched the nationwide 'Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027' on the 'MY Bharat' portal. The initiative fulfills Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision to bring one lakh talented youth from non-political backgrounds into public life to contribute directly toward building a 'Viksit Bharat @2047'.
The first phase, the multilingual 'Viksit Bharat Quiz', is live on the portal until September 30, 2026. Youth aged 15 to 29 across all 33 districts of Chhattisgarh—including Bastar, Surguja, Bilaspur, and Raipur divisions—can participate to enter the national selection process.
The selection involves five merit-based stages: the ongoing digital quiz, an essay contest (October 5–19), district championships (November 10–16), and state rounds (November 17–December 7). Finalists will head to New Delhi for the national dialogue (January 10–12, 2027) to engage with Union Ministers, with zonal winners presenting ideas directly to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Focusing on key pillars such as tribal leadership, sustainable industrialization, innovation, climate security, and manufacturing, the initiative enables Chhattisgarh's youth to spotlight regional solutions for forest resources and local development. The campaign also features tracks for culture, entrepreneurship, design, tech innovation, and youth parliament.
Eligible youth can register and attempt the quiz at mybharat.gov.in by September 30, 2026.
