As part of run up to Independence Day Celebrations and under the aegis of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign-2026', various public awareness and welfare programs were organized by the Frontier Headquarters (Special Operations), BSF Chhattisgarh. Through these initiatives, messages of patriotism, environmental protection, and drug eradication were conveyed to the general public.

As part of the program, BSF officers, subordinate officers, and jawans, along with local citizens, took out a grand Tiranga Rally from Dussehra Ground, Risali Sector to Rajnikant Chowk, Azad Market. Holding the national flag, a large number of BSF personnel and locals enthusiastically participated in the rally. Promoting patriotism and national unity, the rally inspired citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes.

In the same sequence, a massive tree plantation drive was organized at Sector-8, Bhilai Nagar, with the active participation of BSF personnel and students from a local school. In line with the spirit of environmental protection and the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign, the students and BSF jawans jointly planted saplings and pledged to nurture and protect them. Through this program, children and local residents were encouraged to protect the environment, expand green cover, and ensure a clean and safe environment for future generations.

Additionally, under the 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan' (Drug-Free India Campaign), awareness pamphlets and leaflets were distributed among the public to spread consciousness against drug abuse. People were educated about the ill effects of narcotics, the social and health hazards caused by addiction, and were motivated to stay away from drugs. The youth, in particular, were urged to stand against drug abuse and adopt a healthy, positive lifestyle.

The enthusiastic participation of local residents and school children made the event highly impactful and community-centric. Organized with the resolve of 'Har Ghar Tiranga, Harit Bharat (Green India), and Nasha Mukt Bharat', these programs played a significant role in strengthening the spirit of national unity, environmental conservation, and social responsibility.
