Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), India’s premier university dedicated to the transportation and logistics sector, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FEDEx, at Air Cargo Forum India(ACFI), New Delhi. The partnership aims to strengthen industry–academia collaboration in logistics education and skill development.

The MoU aims to develop future-ready professionals through joint research, collaboration in logistics education, skill development, industry exposure and scholarships for students. It will facilitate the integration of industry insights and practical learning into formal academic programmes.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Choudhary, Vice Chancellor, GSV; Prof. Kaushik Das, Professor of Practice, GSV; and Mr. Suvendu Choudhury, VP Operations & Planning and Engineering - India FedEx, Mr. Varun Sood, Head Government Affairs - India FedEx.

Gati Shakti Vshwavidyalaya (GSV), India’s first University in Transportation and Logistics sector, was established through the Central Universities (Amendment) Act 2022, passed by the Parliament in August 2022. Working under the Ministry of Railways (Govt. of India), the University covers the entire transportation sector including Railways, Highways, Ports, Aviation, Maritime, Shipping, Inland Waterways, Urban Transport and complete Logistics and supply chain networks.
