On July 15, an awareness program on four new Labour Codes was organized for employees at the regional office of a private bank in Bengaluru. The program was conducted via video conference for the Human Resources (HR) team across the country.

Mr. S. K. Mohanty, Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner (Central), Bengaluru, and Mr. Abhilaksh Pannu, Labour Enforcement Officer, provided a comprehensive overview of the new Labour Codes. They explained the objectives of the reforms, key features of the codes, and their impact on both employers and employees, including statutory compliance and effective implementation.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Suraj Kumar, group Head of HR Branch Banking and HR Operations, emphasized the need to create awareness among HR professionals to ensure the smooth implementation of the new legal framework. Participants actively engaged in the discussions during the program and held a discussion to seek clarifications on various practical issues related to labour law compliance.

Members of the Human Resources department and other employees participated in the program, both in person and virtually via video conference.
