The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Regional Office, Nagpur, and District Office, Chandrapur, will organise incentive disbursement ceremonies under the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana (PMVBRY) in Nagpur and Chandrapur on 19 June 2026 from 4:30 PM onwards.

The events are being organised to mark the successful implementation of PMVBRY. The National-Level programme will be held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, on 19 June 2026 in the gracious presence of the Prime Minister of India. During the event, benefits amounting to approximately ₹2,400 crore will be disbursed to eligible beneficiaries under the Scheme.

Simultaneously, around 200 regional events will be organised across the country, particularly in major industrial and employment hubs. These events will witness the participation of employers, employees, industry representatives and other stakeholders. As part of the programme, employers will ceremonially hand over appointment letters to newly recruited employees, highlighting the Scheme's role in promoting employment generation and facilitating the entry of young workers into the formal economy.

The Nagpur event will be held at the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation Regional Office, KDK College Road, opposite Telephone Exchange, Nandanvan, Nagpur. The programme will be attended by Nagpur District Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Minister of State Adv. Ashish Jaiswal, and Collector and District Magistrate Kumar Ashirwad, among other dignitaries.

The Chandrapur event, organised by the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation District Office, Chandrapur, will be held at The Chandrapur District Central Co-operative Bank Ltd., Nagpur Road, Civil Lines, Chandrapur. The programme will be attended by Kishore Jorgewar, MLA, Chandrapur, and Sangitatai Khandekar, Mayor of Chandrapur.

The Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana (PMVBRY) is a flagship initiative of the Government of India aimed at promoting employment generation, enhancing employability and expanding social security coverage across sectors of the economy. The Scheme seeks to facilitate the creation of more than 3.5 crore jobs across the country.

Under the Scheme, first-time employees are eligible for an incentive of up to ₹15,000, while employers are provided incentives for generating additional employment. The Scheme is expected to encourage formal workforce participation and support sustained job creation.
