The Sports Authority of India North East Regional Centre (SAI NERC) is officially launching a Nationwide open selection trial to induct exceptional youth football talent into the elite National Centre of Excellence (NCOE) residential program. The comprehensive scouting event will take place at the SAI NERC Football Ground in Takyelpat, Imphal, running from June 6 to June 13, 2026. Designed specifically to elevate dedicated grassroots players to the highest professional tiers of Indian football, interested athletes must download the official registration form online and present it alongside mandatory physical documents, on their designated trial day.

The NCOE scheme is open to boys and girls born between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2015. The selection trials for boys will be conducted from June 6 to June 9, 2026, while trials for girls will be held from June 10 to June 13, 2026. All participants are required to report at the SAI NERC Football Ground, Takyelpat, at 7:00 AM on their respective trial dates.

During physical verification, all candidates must produce their original Aadhaar Card, original Birth Certificate, four recent passport-size photographs, educational certificates, and National or International Sports Performance Certificates (if applicable).

SAI NERC Football Coach Devender Dhillon emphasized the institution’s commitment and urged youth from every corner of the country to capitalize on this premier developmental ecosystem and test their mettle against the best in their age group.

To participate in the selection process, candidates must download the official registration form from the SAI NERC website at https://sainercimphal.in/downloads. Athletes must submit the duly filled form on the day of trial.
