On the occasion of Veer Savarkar Jayanti, the enthusiasm, maturity of thought, and patriotic spirit of the youth were clearly evident during the debate competitions organized by My Bharat Mohali in Zirakpur. The program was conducted under the leadership of District Youth Officer Isha Gupta.

Organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, the event was not merely a competition but also emerged as a vibrant platform for nation-building, youth awareness, and creative expression. The theme of the elocution competition was “The Relevance of Veer Savarkar’s Thoughts in Building a Developed India,” in which participants effectively presented Savarkar’s nationalist vision, social consciousness, and ideas of a self-reliant India.

Addressing the youth, the chief guest of the program, social worker and philanthropist Mohan Kumar, said that Veer Savarkar is not merely a historical figure, but a source of inspiration who continues to motivate the youth to work in the national interest.
