At the 19th Rozgar Mela held in Bengaluru today, the Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment, and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, distributed appointment letters to candidates selected for posts in various government departments. 19th Rozgar Mela events were held simultaneously across 19 locations in the country, where appointment letters were distributed to more than 51,000 candidates selected for government jobs.

Inaugurating the program, MoS Sushri Shobha Karandlaje said that the youth must involve themselves in government services. We must make India as Viksit Bharat; this is possible only through the upcoming Amrit peedi. India will develop and gain respect through the development of every department and every state. She stated that making India number one in the world by 2047 is our goal and our purpose.
So far, a total of 19 Rozgar Melas have been conducted. In the last 3-4 years, more than 12 lakh youth have joined government departments. The responsibility of the Amrit peedi is to work well and honestly in the departments they have joined. Through government work, they should do as much good as possible for society and work for the nation, she said.

In the past, one had to wander around offices for an appointment letter, but in the last 4-5 years, a great opportunity has been created for job seekers; Hon.Prime Minister and Ministers themselves are coming in person to hand over the appointment letters. The sole purpose behind this is that we must all come together to take this country forward, and it is our responsibility to improve our departments. The Minister said that this is exactly why the Hon. Prime Minister himself is now undertaking the work of giving appointment letters to our youth.

Along with government work, engage in other social services as well. Teach children during your spare time. Taking our country forward is our sole purpose. Our goal is that by the year 2047, India must be in the number one position across every department in the entire world. For this, the Government is fulfilling various responsibilities, and our 'Karmayogi' scheme is one among them; priority is being given to Karmayogi.

There are different chapters in Karmayogi. The first one is 'Prarambh'. You must read this and pass it. She advised the newly recruited employees that through this, you will gain more knowledge on how to work and what to do.

On this occasion, Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi participated virtually through video conferencing and addressed the Rozgar Mela.
Officials from various departments were present at the event.
