The National Career Service Centre for SC/ST, Guwahati, under the Directorate General of Employment, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, has invited applications from eligible SC/ST jobseekers for various free skill development and training programmes for the session 2026–27. The initiative aims to enhance employability, technical skills, and career opportunities among unemployed youth belonging to the SC/ST communities.

The training programmes include one-year courses in Special Coaching, ‘O’ Level Computer Hardware Maintenance, ‘O’ Level Software Training, Office Automation, Accounting and Publishing Assistant, Computer Application and Business Accounting Associate and Cyber Secured Web Development Associate. In addition, a two-month foundation course on Artificial Intelligence Technology will also be introduced.

Eligible candidates between 18 and 30 years of age who have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) examination may apply for the courses. Selected candidates will receive free training facilities, and stipend support of up to Rs. 1,000 per month will be provided for most courses as per Government norms. The Artificial Intelligence Foundation course will be offered free of cost, although no stipend facility will be available for that programme.

The courses are scheduled to commence from 1^st July 2026 at various training centres . Interested candidates may visit www.ncs.gov.in or www.dge.gov.in and submit their application to the National Career Service Centre for SC/ST, Guwahati, on or before 31st May 2026.
