Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) mybharat.gov.in, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, announces the grand culmination of the MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026 - Zone 8, covering Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep States. The two-day finale will be held on 12–13 April 2026 at The Art of Living International Centre, Kanakapura Main Rd, Udayapura Post, South, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560082, Bengaluru Karnataka. The event will be graced by Sushri Sobha Karandlaje, Hon’ble MoS for Ministry of Labour & Employment and MSME and other dignitaries .

This milestone event brings together the finest young minds who have progressed through a rigorous multi-stage national competition and now stand at the threshold of a historic two day brainstorming session bringing together academicians, industry leaders, and subject experts to deliberate on themes aligned with the Union Budget 2026, where more than 15,000 youth across 17 locations, representing all States and Union Territories, will engage.  This reflects the spirit of India’s Amrit Peedhi - a generation that is not merely inheriting the nation, but actively shaping its future.

Launched on 2 February 2026 by Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, the MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026 has emerged as a transformative platform connecting the Union Budget 2026 which is widely regarded as a Yuva Shakti-driven Budget with the aspirations of young citizens. Significantly, several ideas reflected in the Union Budget 2026 draw inspiration from the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD 2026), reinforcing the Government’s commitment to placing youth at the centre of policy making. Anchored in the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and participatory governance, the initiative unfolded across three stages: a national quiz, an essay round across nine development themes, and a final engagement with national leadership.

Across India, the programme witnessed participation from over 12 lakh youth and received more than 46,500 essay submissions, making it one of the largest youth policy-engagement exercises in the country. At Bengaluru, selected participants will further engage on themes such as Viksit Krishi, Human Capital,Developed India and Women Led & Inclusive Development, Key to Developed India, carrying forward this spirit of youth-led policy dialogue.

The two-day programme has been thoughtfully curated to ensure meaningful engagement and dialogue. On 12 April 2026, the women participants will engage in a dedicated Women’s Youth Parliament in the afternoon. On 13 April 2026, the programme will commence with the Inaugural Ceremony, followed by a MY Bharat Session and two Expert Panel Discussions.

In a landmark expression of Nari Shakti, the Women’s Youth Parliament will be conducted under the theme “Nari Shakti: Viksit Bharat Ki Awaaz”. Women participants will engage in a structured parliamentary style discussion on the Women’s Reservation Bill, articulating their perspectives in a simulated legislative format. The session, facilitated by a female speaker which will conclude with the collective adoption of a resolution, reflecting the voice of Nari Shakti.

Adding a vibrant dimension of community engagement and environmental consciousness, a ‘Sundays on Cycle’ initiative will be organised on the evening of 12 April 2026 , in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India. The rally will bring youth together in a collective call for a Green Viksit Bharat, symbolising their commitment to sustainable development.

The defining moment of the event will unfold on 13 April 2026, when 1051 selected participants from Zone 8 will engage on sectoral areas of the union budget with national and state toppers. This interaction represents participatory governance in action - providing a platform for young Indians to present their ideas, aspirations, and policy insights to the highest level of leadership.

The MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026 finale stands as a celebration of youth potential, demonstrating what is possible when a nation empowers its young citizens with knowledge, platforms, and voice. As participants from Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep States converge in Bengaluru, they embody the spirit of Amrit Peedhi - energised, aware, and determined, shaping India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat @2047.
